What I got for my 16th Birthday + Meal Highlights

IMG_2308.JPG

As you probably know from my ‘Birthday Tag’ post three weeks ago, it was my birthday recently. On Saturday 21st January, the day after my birthday, ย I celebrated my sixteenth by having a birthday meal at a local Tex-Mex with my best friends. It was a really great night, where I was surrounded by friends, food and lots of fun! โค

I’m just going to touch on all of the wonderful gifts I was given for my 16th birthday from friends and family members, considering they were all so lovely and thoughtful! To me, pricing doesn’t really matter when it comes to gifts. As long as someย thought was put into it, that’s all that matters! ๐Ÿ˜€ I am not in anyway boasting or bragging about my birthday presents, simply thanking those who gave me them and showing you guys, so maybe you can be inspired.

I am not, in any way,ย trying to boast or brag about my birthday presents, simply thanking those who gave me them and showing you guys, so maybe you can be inspired.

The Birthday Tag

Hey, guys!

As I said before, I’m going to be publishing blog posts on a Friday now! As luck would have it, I have two things to celebrate today, the first being the fact that it is my 16th Birthday today! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜„ I’ve been looking forward to this day for a little while, just to call myself 16. It sounds kind of ridiculous, but I like the maturity that this age is going to give me!ย ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Because it’s my birthday, but I also have to celebrate reaching 200 followers, (couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present, by the way!) I’m actually releasing TWO blog posts today! ย ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

I thought it would be a lot of fun to do a birthday tag so that you can learn a little bit about me and my birthday!ย ๐ŸŽ‰ This tag was created by a Dutch blogger called Kwante in Wonderland, and the original post is in Dutch, but I got the English version from a blogger called The Belgian Reviewer! Thank you for the inspiration, I did add a few of my own little ideas to it too, which I will indicate as my own ๐Ÿ™‚

First off, I love my date of birth, which is 20/01/2001. It is just perfect as it is a repetition of the same four digits. I also love how my name is a palindrome (the same forward and backwards) but that’s another story! ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy 16th Birthday Chloe!

Happy Birthday to the lovely, beautiful Chloe! ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’– We’ve been friends so long, pretty much since we first met each other at the start of Year 7. I’ll never forget the fun we had sat next to each other in DT and IT ๐Ÿ˜‰ ย It’s been a bumpy ride but I know this friendship is solidย ๐Ÿ’ช You’re the first 16-year-old, wow!!!

Happy 15th Birthday Kornelia!

Happy Birthday ๐ŸŽ‰โคโœจ๐Ÿ˜

We’ve been best friends for quite a long time now. I really appreciate the advice that you always give me, and the help and support we both offer each other.

You have been my constant throughout everything, never quick to judge or to call me out on my differing opinion, because although you fight your case, you are open to the ideas of others and are tolerant to opposing views, a quality that is so important, yet few possess โœจ

We have a lot of memories, such as:

  • Paignton, when we went to Oldway Mansion and met squirrels ๐Ÿฐ
  • My Confirmation โ›ช โค
  • Bowling ๐ŸŽณ
  • All my birthdays (minus Year 7)
  • In Year 8 when we had every lesson together ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
  • Sneaky Pictures in English with Min and Jasmine ๐Ÿ“ท ๐Ÿ˜‚

I love to talk to you about anything that is on my mind, in particular, music. ๐ŸŽถ Can I just say that I think your music taste is top class? ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‰ Genuinely, I can see your passion for the music you listen to whenever you share a song with me, and honestly, that is what it is all about!

Happy 15th Birthday Jazmin!

Happy 15th Birthday to my ‘twin’ Jaz! You are one of the most stunning, lovely, friendly, honest and trustworthy people I have ever met!

We’ve grown so much closer in the past year, and in spite of our relatively short friendship, (well, in comparison to that of me and Sanjana anyway) I honestly cannot imagine my life without you as a best friendย ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’– I trust you with my everything, there’s honestly no-one I can talk as openly with as I can with you! You have always always always been there for me; I have not hesitated once to call you up in tears and vent my frustrations, to which you offer the best adviceย ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜‰

Now to the twin partย ๐Ÿ‘ญ apart from age, as I’m over 6 months older than you, we are more alike than many others may think. We are of similar height; we share the same music taste (remember the time that we were both listening to Wildest Dreams at the same time?); we still don’t know what we’re going to do in life (in spite of loving our work experiences); we chose the exact same quote out of 30 in that presentation, which was “People think it is holding on that makes you stronger, but sometimes it’s letting go …”ย ๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿ’ญ. In fact, we even have the same condition, Raynaud’s!ย ๐Ÿ˜‚

3 Day Fun Trip Experience: Day 2

The second trip was the trip to Woodlands! I think everyone who went (or my friends at least) would agree that it was the very best day. It was also Sanjana’s Birthday, so I’m going to put a special little slideshow at the end of this especially for her!

Day 2: Woodlands, Dartmouth

I had done a lot of preparation for this day –ย I brought balloons and ribbon for us to celebrate Sanjana’s birthday, as well as her card and her presents – but we’ll get onto what they were later on!

Sanjana arrived the latest, so before she arrived Mollie, Maddie and I blew up 5 balloons and tied them to the green ribbon for Sanjana. When she arrived she was wearing a ‘Birthday Princess’ Sash which triggered my use of the phrase ‘birthday entourage’ to refer to myself and the others when we accompanied Sanjana.

Before we boarded the bus, our head supervisor for the trip, Miss Milner, announced that she had made several slices of rainbow cake. She said that as it was Sanjana’s birthday, she had to give us the slices as we were (evidently) celebrating! It was so lovely of her, and the cake tasted and looked amazing!
